Epistemología y conocimiento profesional: una propuesta de evaluación de la acción docente

Abstract

Resumen El presente trabajo se adentra en las concepciones epistemológicas preexistentes en el quehacer docente y que resultan posibles obstáculos para estructurar la práctica profesional en contextos y situaciones definidas de enseñanza y aprendizaje, el objetivo general exponer un primer avance de una Propuesta de Evaluación de la Acción Docente (PEAD) sustentada en teorías del ámbito educativo, específicamente de la didáctica, y sus conceptos o procedimientos derivados, a fin de estructurar un modelo explicativo de evaluación de la praxis docente fundamentado en el conocimiento con validez científica en la esfera educativa. En este sentido, se estudian las propuestas teóricas de Padrón (2013, 2001) y Porlán et al. (1997, 1998), en tanto ofrecen la base epistemológica y de fundamento crítico para desentrañar las concepciones epistemológicas y las tendencias obstáculos implicadas en las prácticas docentes. La vía metodológica incluye la revisión documental, el análisis crítico y la categorización a partir de la reconstrucción y aplicación de teorías altamente contrastadas, como por ejemplo el concepto de transposición didáctica de Chevallard (2000) en su relación con la construcción de conocimiento escolar. Algunos de los resultados o hallazgos encontrados apuntan a que la acción docente requiere un redimensionamiento de las concepciones que animan la práctica pedagógica, en tanto que merecen considerar en toda su complejidad las implicaciones de las concepciones epistemológicas que subyacen en el conocimiento profesional evidenciado en las prácticas de aula.
