La planificación en la formación inicial de docentes de matemática: un estudio de casos

Abstract

Resumen Se han observado deficiencias en cuanto a la planificación de las clases de matemática en los docentes en formación. Tomando como fundamentos teóricos la Educación Matemática Realista (Bressan; Zolkower y Gallego, 2004 y Freudenthal, 1983), las clases planificadas quedan estructuradas en 4 fases: presentación de la actividad, desarrollo de la actividad, formulación de ideas y la institucionalización (Fe y Alegría, 2012), además de considerarse algunos organizadores del currículo como: la fenomenología, la modelación, las representaciones externas y la resolución de problemas (Segovia y Rico, 2001). El propósito de este trabajo fue caracterizar las planificaciones de las clases de matemática bajo este enfoque, realizadas por los docentes en formación, cursantes de la asignatura Didáctica Especial, del segundo período de 2017. La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa, de tipo etnográfico- estudio de casos. Los resultados mostraron que los futuros docentes presentan debilidades en las 4 fases de la planificación; las preguntas generadoras de la fase 1 no consideraron algunos indicadores y fueron de bajo nivel cognitivo; las fases 2 y 3 fueron trabajadas superficialmente, y la institucionalización se caracterizó por el esquema tradicional de presentación de la definición y ejemplificación sin considerar la actividad generadora de la fase uno por lo que no se evidenció el proceso de modelación.
