CONCEPCIONES SOBRE DISCAPACIDAD EN ESTUDIANTES DE PROFESORADOS

Abstract

Abstract. This paper is based on the results of a research process carried out within the framework of the Master's Thesis Towards an understanding of the conceptions of disability in students of the faculty of the National University of Río Cuarto. Construction of meanings1. The central objective was to understand and reconstruct the perspectives on disability and the conceptions in relation to the person with disabilities, of students who were in the final stages of their teaching career. Likewise, due to the proximity of the teaching task, it was essential to reflect on how to contextualize educational practices that favor inclusion processes. Specifically, this article recovers the discourse that circulates among students regarding their perspectives on disability, identifying their arguments, interpreting them and understanding them from different theoretical perspectives on the subject, since we believe this reconstruction is essential to think about aspects that have an important implications in the future teaching praxis, specifically in relation to people with disabilities.
