Abstract

Caso clínico de una paciente de 78 años de edad que presenta úlceras venosas en pierna derecha. La resolución progresiva de las lesiones se lleva a cabo principalmente por identificar la causa etiológica de las úlceras y por aplicar el tratamiento compresivo, además de tratar de forma local las lesiones con curas en ambiente húmedo siguiendo el modelo TIME. A través de este caso clínico se muestra la evidencia científica de la compresión como tratamiento principal para las úlceras venosas. ABSTRACT: [THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPRESSION TREATMENT TO TREAT VENOUS ULCERS: A CLINICAL CASE] Clinical case of a 78-year-old woman patient who presented venous ulcers on the right leg. The progressive resolution of the lesions is carried out mainly by identifying the etiological cause of the ulcers and by applying the compressive treatment. In addition to treating the lesions locally with cures in a moist environment following the TIME model. Through this clinical case, the scientific evidence of compression as the main treatment for venous ulcers is shown.
