BioKiK - Komm in den Kreislauf: Unterrichtsmaterial zu Plastikmüll, Nachwachsenden Rohstoffen und Bioökonomie

Abstract

Bioeconomy as a topic of the German Science Year 2020-2021, as part of the sustainability strategy of the state of Brandenburg (Germany) and the global sustainability goals was the focus of the cooperation project "BioKiK" of the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ) and the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB). The BioKiK project had focused on resource utilisation and the opportunities of replacing waste components by biobased or recyclable materials and thus reusing them in another form, largely without any loss of material. This teaching unit is designed for students of secondary school level and consists of two thematically linked lessons: Lesson 1: Waste, plastic and waste behaviour, Lesson 2: Introduction to renewable resources The modules can be carried out during typical school lessons or as part of project weeks. Both modules comprise a programme designed for two lessons of 45 minutes each; the two lessons can be carried out in consecutive weeks.

Das Projekt wurde gefördert durch das Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur des Landes Brandenburg (Deutschland) / Funding was provided by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg (Germany)
