كان للمحدثين عبر التاريخ اهتمامٌ وعنايةٌ بعلم القراءات لا يقل شأ ا نً عن اهتمام المفسرين والنحويين والفقهاء، وجاء هذا البحث ليُسلط الضوء على عَلَم من أعلام الحديث وهو القاضي عياض في كتابه اكمال المعلم بفوائد صحيح مسلم، حيث يهدف البحث الى ابراز عناية القاضي عياض بعلم القراءات، واحتجاجه بها في مجال تفسير الآيات القرأآنية وشرح بعض ألفاظها المُبهمة والوقوف على المعنى الدقيق المُراد منها، اضافة الى شرح ألفاظ ا لحاديث الشريفة وبيان معناها الصحيح المُراد منها أو بيان وجهها في اللغة، وكيفية نُطق بعض ألفاظ الحديث الشريف ووجوه هذه القراءات، وتوجيه الروايات الحديثية، واس تنباط ا لحكام الفقهية أو تأ ييد مذهب فقهي معين، وكيف اس تدل القاضي بالقراءات المتواترة والشاذة على عدد من المسائل النحوية ونَقَضَ كلام بعض علماء النحو وردّ عليهم بالدليل، ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل اليها البحث: شرف علم القراءات و أهميته في علوم الحديث وشروحه، مما يُدلل على ترابط العلوم الشرعية وتداخلها، كما برز اهتمام القاضي عياض بالقراءات المتواترة والشاذة م ا عا دون تمييز بينهما، و أن القراءة اذا ثبتت فهي من عند خير البشر و أفصحهم، فلا يرُدها قواعد النحاة ولا اللغويين. Throughout history, the muḥaddiths have had an interest in the science of qirāʼāt, which is no less than those of mufassirs, grammarians and jurists. This research aims to address the work titled Ikmāl al-Mu‘lim bi-Fawā'id Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim written by one of the most remarkable ḥadīth scholars, al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ. The study also aims to highlight al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ’s interest in the Qirāʼāt science, his use of qirāʼāt in interpreting Qurʾānic verses, his explanation for certain ambiguous statements, and the style of identifying the meaning to be inferred from them in a certain manner. In addition, this study aims to present the explanations for the ḥadīth statements and to find out their correct meanings or to demonstrate their correct pronunciations and to present their qirāʼāt aspects, as well as aiming to reveal their orientation for ḥadīth narrations, to conclude jurisprudential provisions and to support a certain jurisprudential sect. Along with that, this study addresses how al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ cited mutawātir and shāz qirāʼāts as evidence about naḥw regarding many subjects, how he criticized the views of some naḥw scholars and the objection he made to them moving from the evidence. One of the most remarkable findings concluded by this research is that the value and importance of qirāʼāt is really essential for ḥadīth scholarship and sharḥ, which indicates the interconnectedness and overlapping of sharīʿa sciences. Another significant matter is that al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ pays ultimate attention to mutawātir and shāz qirāʼāts without differentiating them. Moreover, if a qirāʼāt is proven to reach out to the Prophet, who is the best and the most fluent of all people, al-Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ accepts that without having to evaluate it according to the rules of grammarians and naḥw scholars.
