La lectoescritura en básica media: Base fundamental para la comprensión lectora

Abstract

El presente proyecto investigativo analiza la problemática del proceso de lectoescritura y la comprensión lectora en los estudiantes de cuarto año de educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Simón Bolívar. Esta variable incide negativamente en el proceso educativo y en los futuros aprendizajes del estudiante. Esta investigación microcurricular nace de una problemática evidenciada, por ello el objetivo es conocer las causas y consecuencias de la problemática en los estudiantes. Se realizó una investigación de campo basada en la labor del docente del aula. La metodología utilizada es la cualitativa, debido a que, se tomaron como datos las respuestas de la entrevista realizada a la docente del aula y una prueba a los estudiantes, con lo cual, se pudo realizar un análisis descriptivo del nivel cognitivo de los estudiantes en cuanto a la comprensión lectora. Estos datos fueron tabulados y analizados, permitiendo emprender acciones para una propuesta que permita contribuir a mejorar la lectoescritura de los estudiantes. Desde estos hallazgos se llega a la conclusión que, la falta de habilidades de lectura y escritura limita la capacidad de los estudiantes para acceder a la información, comprender conceptos complejos y expresarse de manera efectiva para garantizar un proceso educativo justo, equitativo y de calidad para todos los estudiantes, mediante la implementación de diferentes estrategias pedagógicas enfocadas en la lectoescritura y comprensión lectora.
