El rol del docente colombiano en el ámbito investigativo

Abstract

Resumen La educación necesita mayor impacto en la sociedad, por esto es importante que la investigación educativa se convierta en una necesidad y una práctica de los educadores, con el fin de generar reflexiones y soluciones a problemas actuales del entorno escolar. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar el rol del docente colombiano en el ámbito investigativo. Teóricamente se fundamentó en Sánchez (2020); Burgos, Pico y Vélez (2020); Herrera, Guerrero y Ramírez (2018); Cifuentes y Pedraza (2017). Metodológicamente se realizó bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, transversal, de tipo descriptivo. Se aplicó una encuesta a una muestra de 384 profesionales de la educación pertenecientes a diversas áreas del conocimiento e instituciones de Colombia. Los resultados destacan que los docentes en este país no indagan y en consecuencia no publican. Como conclusión se tiene que la labor educativa debe estar fundamentada en la exploración para la generación de conocimiento y para lograr el desarrollo del país; la consolidación de proyectos por parte de los educadores ofrece la oportunidad del intercambio de resultados para la mejora de estrategias y puesta en marcha de modelos educativos que conlleven a conseguir la excelencia académica por parte del estudiantado. Se recomienda continuar realizando estudios sobre este tema, para indagar las causas de por qué los educadores no cumplen con su rol de investigador.
