Métodos de investigación cualitativa. Un análisis documental

Abstract

Resumen La investigación cualitativa deja a la reflexión del investigador la selección de los métodos a utilizar, y constituyen no solamente herramientas, procedimientos o instrumentos; también hacen referencia a la ontología, axiología y epistemología. El objetivo del presente artículo fue describir algunos métodos de investigación cualitativa a través del análisis documental. Teóricamente se sustentó con los aportes de Fuster (2019), Jiménez y Valle (2017), Martínez (2014), Aguirre y Jaramillo (2012), Trigos (2010), Strauss y Corbin (2002), entre otros. Se aplicó una metódica documental; para ello se seleccionó y analizó diferentes textos y artículos relacionados con la temática, los cuales fueron presentados en una matriz documental donde se destacó la definición y características de la fenomenología hermenéutica, la teoría fundamentada y la investigación–acción. Los resultados indican que cada uno de los métodos presentan sus propias particularidades en cuanto a sus elementos esenciales y su aplicación, coincidiendo en aspectos fundamentales como la relevancia de un diseño emergente, flexible, donde el investigador es el instrumento principal por cuanto desde su posición ontológica, axiológica, epistemológica y metodológica selecciona el método, al considerar el propósito que persigue lograr para el desarrollo de conocimiento científico en determinada área, e interaccionar con el objeto de estudio en una realidad dinámica, cambiante, holística, generando datos de manera inductiva de acuerdo el contexto histórico-social.
