Inventory of persistent identifiers for cultural heritage objects and web resources provided to Europeana

Abstract

This report presents the results of an analysis of the usage of persistent identifiers (PIDs) for cultural heritage objects (CHO in the Europeana Data Model - EDM) and their digital representations (web resources in EDM), focusing on the metadata from Europeana’s data providers.. The analysis was conducted on a data dump of the Europeana dataset from February 2023.
