Ritos mortuorios, percepción de la corporalidad desde la cosmovisión andina, Jujuy Argentina

Abstract

Este trabajo es parte de una amplia investigación sobre los rituales mortuorios y medicinas andinas tradicionales, realizada en la provincia de Jujuy en el norte argentino, cuyos materiales fueron recabados entre los años 2009 y 2020 en las zonas de valles, puna y quebradas de la provincia. Durante el trabajo de campo recopilamos datos sobre el sistema de creencias, medicinas y vivencia de abuelos y abuelas que mantienen sus tradiciones por décadas y aún conservan su lengua materna: quechua, aymara y, en menor medida, el ckunsa en el área geográfica de Atacama, limítrofe con Chile. Presentamos la síntesis de una investigación empírica con desarrollos teóricos que avalan la importancia de la corporalidad en la construcción de la identidad del individuo y en su reconstrucción, al pensarse a sí mismo desde la concepción andina. En este trabajo intentamos acercarnos a comprender cómo el hombre de la puna concibe la corporalidad propia y del otro frente a la muerte.
