This report summarizes the initial version of the overview of all Earth System Science (ESS) relevant Research Data Management (RDM) networks and initiatives in which NFDI4Earth participants are active. The first part of this comprehensive overview presents the additional value that the collected information could bring to the NFDI4Earth community - an improved level of information about the available international opportunities in various RDM and/or ESS initiatives, offering a direct contact through their German representatives. The collected data will be stored in the NFDI4Earth Knowledge Hub (KH), periodically updated and will be easily accessible through the NFDI4Earth One Stop for All (OS4A). Four main different types of initiatives are distinguished (Communities and Accusations; Data Infrastructures; Data, Software, Services and Educational & Training materials providers; Projects), which are listed in the second section of the document. The future networking approach to each of the groups is built on the existing commitment of participants in NFDI4Earth and their active engagement to each initiative. The data collection approach, based primary on internet survey, is presented in the third part of the report. The document outlines a future step to gather information through direct contact with NFDI4Earth participants to obtain all necessary information and keep it up-to-date.
