Figuraciones sociales y capitalismo en torno a áreas naturales protegidas

Abstract

In this paper we analyze the relationship between capitalization processes and their links with government and non-governmental development agencies in two rural settlements in the province of Misiones, in northeastern Argentina. These settlements are located at the border of the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve, so it is important the presence of external agencies which are conducting environmentally sustainable development programs. Interdependencies that subject both settlements in their relations with government and nongovernmental agencies are at the basis of different ways of configuration of the advance of capitalism. But at these configurations that make possible the advance of capital, the ecological conditions of the settlement and productive unities have an important role. In this paper we used methodologies that include statistical techniques, multiple correspondence analyses, interviews and design combined maps.
