This study aims to investigate the bond behaviour between textile reinforced mortar (TRM) systems with different matrices and concrete substrates. The investigated parameters included: the type of the matrix (alkali-activated or cementitious) and the bond length (75 mm or 150 mm). For this purpose, a total of 4 twin specimens were prepared and tested using modified beam test. The results showed that increasing the bond length led to an increase of the peak axial stress in the textile. The specimens employing the alkali-activated matrix achieved higher bond capacity than their cementitious counterparts regardless of the bond length.
