The issue of crime in the urban areas of Boa Vista/RR has been the object of study by the academic society and managers of public security agencies in Roraima. Based on this assumption, the article aims to organize and analyze in different maps the number of police reports, showing the crimes of homicide, robbery, theft and drug trafficking, in the neighborhoods of the capital, in the years 2019 to 2021 Thus, it is essential to contextualize the evolution of the capture of statistical data from police reports by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security – MJSP and by the state Polícia Civil. Research as an approach is based on qualitative and quantitative aspects. To this end, the use of cartography will be a tool to visualize the number of records in each neighborhood, as well as a visual means of explaining violence, in order to support actions by State and Municipal governments with the use of public policies in critical areas. of the urban areas of Boa Vista/RR.
