Abstract

En los últimos años se han cambiado de manera radical las dinámicas con la cual se enseña y a la vez se evalúan los procesos de enseñanza y de aprendizaje, para lograr formar individuos productivos, originales y auténticos a la hora de construir conocimiento, tomando en consideración que los grandes avances en la informática y en las comunicaciones conlleva a que todas las personas sean capaces de aprender durante toda su vida. El objetivo que se persigue al aplicar la estrategia del portafolio, es lograr que los estudiantes reflexionen sobre sus procesos de avance de aprendizaje, organización y calidad de su producto; convirtiéndose en verdaderos aprendientes autónomos, capaces de adelantar exitosamente procesos de evaluación tendientes a obtener los mejores resultados en todas sus actividades y proyectos. La estrategia se viene aplicando desde hace aproximadamente 10 años a estudiantes de básica y media en la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar de Soracá, donde se pueden reflejar desempeños satisfactorios en el fortalecimiento y desarrollo de competencias y habilidades en los estudiantes, facilitando así la comprensión y apropiación de saberes en ciencias naturales; promoviendo y fortaleciendo el aprendizaje cooperativo, donde los estudiantes aprenden a aprender, a comunicarse, a debatir, favoreciendo así la formación integral y autorregulada.
