AGORAge: Herramientas para una comunidad cuidadora

Abstract

Estas herramientas son el resultado de una experiencia de investigación de un año, en el marco del proyecto inspirado en la ciencia ciudadana AGORAge: Ageing in a Caring Community. Están dirigidas a todas aquellas personas interesadas en poner en marcha iniciativas que permitan crear comunidades solidarias en las que se preste especial atención a la inclusión social de las personas mayores. Este conjunto de herramientas puede servir a investigadores y profesionales de la intervención social, así como también a responsables políticos, proveedores de servicios y municipios. Su principal objetivo es, por un lado, mostrar técnicas de diagnóstico e intervención a través de la experiencia concreta del proyecto AGORAge y, por otro, proporcionar más recursos (buenas prácticas, herramientas y recomendaciones) para fomentar la creación de comunidades solidarias. La utilidad e idoneidad de estas herramientas dependerá de cada proyecto concreto, del contexto en el que se utilicen y del usuario, pero lo que consideramos crucial en todos los casos es conocer la situación de la que parte. Es decir, entender las necesidades y requerimientos de las personas implicadas. Para conocer esta realidad, es fundamental entrar en contacto con el grupo destinatario desde el principio, e implicarlo al máximo en las distintas fases de la investigación. A continuación, pasemos a consultar las herramientas y a echar un vistazo a los distintos conceptos, métodos, técnicas, ejemplos y recursos para familiarizarse con cada una de las secciones que la componen.
