Java library that abstracts over the phisical storage. The library is capable of mounting several different store implementations, (by default clients uses MongoDB) allowing to download, upload, remove and list files or unstructured bytestreams (binary objects). Every binary object must have an owner. It's possible to define access rights to objects, allowing private, public, or shared (group-based) access. The library supports the folder concept as a means of grouping objects. In other words, the grouped objects have names that begin with a common string. This common string, or shared prefix, is the folder name. Object names are also referred to as key names. All the operations of this service are provided through a standards-based, POSIX-like API which supports the organisation and operations normally associated with local file systems whilst offering scalable and fault-tolerant remote storage
