Abstract

Le vocabulaire professionnel en Algérie et les échanges verbaux au sein de la spécialité restent peu étudiés. C’est l’une des motivations qui nous a poussés à nous y intéresser. Lors de cette intervention, il sera question de décrire et analyser la dynamique terminologique au sein de quinze secteurs professionnels à Mostaganem. Il est vrai que chez cette catégorie qu’ils soient artisans aguerris ou novices dans le métier, la terminologie représente leur identité linguistique au sein de leurs spécialités respectives. En Algérie, la présence du français et l’arabe en langue maternelle compliquerait la communication entre pairs. Il demeure légitime d’identifier la composante de ce vocabulaire spécialisé qui circule auprès de ces secteurs d’activité. Il est impératif de déterminer avec quel degré l’algérien[1] s’accapare la spécialité et en quoi il diffère de l’algérien ordinaire présent dans la langue maternelle. Est-ce que les artisans connaissent la relation forme/sens de l’unité terminologique à savoir les signifiants ? Et est-ce qu’elles sont mieux maîtrisées, car on les trouve dans la langue courante. [1] Il représente une structure linguistique assez complexe composée essentiellement d’une variante d’arabe et accessoirement de berbère, d’espagnol, de turc, d’italien, de maltais. Dans le nord de l’Algérie, le français est quasi-présent dans cet idiome. Toutefois, sa forme morpho-phonologique est adaptée à l’arabe dans les situations non-officielles et auprès des non instruits.
