Data and program codes to reproduce the results of surface-wave tomography for the Paramushir Island (Kuril Arc)

Abstract

This file contains the files to reproduce the results presented in the article: by Nadezhda Belovezhets, Yaroslav Berezhnev, Ivan Koulakov, Andrey Jakovlev, Sergei Abramenkov, Sergey Z. Smirnov, and Ilyas Abkadyrov (2023). Magma and hydrothermal sources below the northern part of Paramushir Island (Kuril Arc) inferred from ambient noise tomography, Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research. This file includes: 1. The full folder with the SURF_TOMO code for the surface-wave tomography (Koulakov et al., 2016, G-cube). 2. Folder with the dataset including the dispersion curves of the Rayleigh surface waves for the station pairs in the area of the Paramushir Island in the Kuril Arc. 3. README_EBEKO.PDF file with the description of the workflow on how to reproduce the tomography models based on experimental and synthetic data presented in the article. Koulakov, I., G. Maksotova, K. Jaxybulatov, E. Kasatkina, N. M. Shapiro, B.-G. Luehr, S. El Khrepy, and N. Al-Arifi (2016), Structure of magma reservoirs beneath Merapi and surrounding volcanic centers of Central Java modeled from ambient noise tomography, Geochem. Geophys. Geosyst., 17, 10, 4195-4211, doi:10.1002/2016GC006442.
