This article pretend to offer a new approach to the knowledge of the figure of recognized benedictine Benito Jerónimo Feijoo from a human and religious approach, and understanding its vital evolution and intellectual production from the perspective of his life as a monk. In this regard, we will focus on his long and prolific stage in the monastery of San Vicente de Oviedo. On the other hand, this article is trying to add new research to help complete the study of the figure of Father Feijoo from a new study approach: His life and religious vocation.
