Based on the study of micropropagation of Phalaenopsis circus using leaf explants through organogenesis method, here are some key points: 1. Phalaenopsis orchid is a popular and economically valuable orchid in the floriculture industry. 2. Tissue culture techniques can be used to propagate and conserve Phalaenopsis orchids. 3. The study evaluated the effect of different concentrations of two plant growth regulators (TDZ and 2,4-D) on the micropropagation of Phalaenopsis circus using leaf explants. 4. The researchers found that the optimal concentrations of the PGRs for micropropagation of Phalaenopsis circus were as follows: 1.00 mg l–1 2,4-D for maximum number of PLBs, 2.00 mg l–1 2,4-D for highest leaf length, 1.00 mg l–1 TDZ for maximum number of leaves, and 2.00 mg l–1 2,4-D for longest root length and largest number of roots. 5. Correlations between these traits in the Phalaenopsis circus plantlets under study were calculated. 6. The findings of this study provide valuable information for the micropropagation of Phalaenopsis circus using leaf explants through organogenesis method, which can be useful for the floriculture industry.
