Distribution Nicaragua, North Brazil, Bolivia, French Guiana, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru. Remarks The dorsal colour patterns of Mycotretus lepidus, M. chontalesi, M. graniformis are almost identical. Those species differ only by the spots close to the basal elytral edge, which can be completely ‘divided’ or ‘entire’ depending on the individuals. Aside from these small differences, we dissected individuals showing those phenotypes and observed that their male genitalia have the same morphology.
