Repositories are currently typically the destination of outputs of the final stages of research. New infrastructure and standards are supporting the capture of a more fine-grained view of the research process. As these novel output types and research capture practices evolve and become a part of the wider landscape, repositories and the technical / policy milieu will also need to evolve to respond. This short talk will look at the current state of the art and discuss how practice, technical platforms and policy might progress.
