The aim of this work is to develop and validate a method for analyzing residues of quaternary ammonium compounds. A validation has been carried out and the application has been tested in both animal and plant samples. The analytical procedure consists of an extraction based on the QuEChERS method and a detection, quantification and confirmation by LC-MS/MS.
