While the issue of the formation of an innovative economy in the regions is becoming increasingly important, it becomes important to form a system of indicators representing organizational and economic mechanisms that serve to increase the innovative potential of the regions, and to indicate directions for further improving the effectiveness of their impact. The formulated system of indicators is a set of quantitative and qualitative indicators of innovation potential used to assess the level of systems and processes. Indicators of innovation potential assessment help us to express the state in which it is in relation to the established criteria, achieved or planned level.
