We compiled a dataset of 726,578 records of epiphytic species in Colombia, integrating a comprehensive epiphyte list from different primary sources, all records are available through GBIF (https://doi.org/10.15468/dl.rk4z6u) . We performed a data cleaning according to the SiB Colombia data lab, which includes the elimination of duplicates, taxonomic, geographic and temporal revision. All data were standardized to Darwin Core format and are UTF-8 encoded. The execution of this dataset was possible thanks to the support of GBIF, the European Union, BID Caribbean, SiB Colombia and the Botanical Garden "Joaquin Antonio Uribe" of Medellin.
