Abstract

QGeoTherTools es un conjunto de herramientas diseñadas para cuantificar el potencial geotérmico somero de un acuífero y sus impactos hidráulicos y térmicos en el subsuelo suponiendo que este recurso se explota mediante bombas de calor y sondas geotérmicas (denominadas en inglés Borehole Heat Exchanger, BHE) lo que se conoce como sistemas cerrados, así como con sistemas abiertos. La metodología que utiliza es el álgebra de mapas, por lo que los datos de entrada y salida son de tipo ráster. Para la aplicación de las herramientas QGeoTherTools es necesario que previamente se haya definido un modelo geológico, hidrogeológico y geotérmico de la zona de estudio. Una vez que estos modelos conceptuales están disponibles, de ellos se podrán obtener los datos de entrada para estas herramientas.
