The analysis of technical solutions for the use of wheel-tracking with the use of electromechanical transmissions on various types of equipment was carried out. The perspective of creating transmissions with electric motor-wheels for heavy transport vehicles is shown. The results of calculations regarding the determination of torques and output power of the electric motor-wheels are given. It was revealed that the main promising trend in the development of electromechanical transmissions is to increase the technical level of electric motors by abandoning intermediate on-board gearboxes or gearboxes.
