Abstract

Die DFG bietet spezifische Förderprogramme für Forscherinnen und Forscher in frühen Karrierephasen an. In diesem Infobrief wird der längerfristige Bezug zum deutschen Wissenschaftssystem derjenigen untersucht, die einige Jahre zuvor einen Antrag in diesen Programmen eingereicht haben. Der hier vorgestellte Monitoring-Ansatz wurde erstmals im Rahmen der 2017 veröffentlichten DFG-Studie „Forschungsförderung und Karrierewege“ angewendet. Dieser Infobrief erlaubt daher auch Aussagen zu der Frage, ob verschiedene Antragstellenden-Kohorten in unterschiedlichem Umfang im deutschen Wissenschaftssystem verbleiben bzw. auf eine Professur berufen werden.
