The research interviewed small business owners and employees, reviewed the NDPR data protection standards, evaluated different cybersecurity frameworks, and created a hybrid framework that fit the Nigerian context. The research outcomes included a comprehensive analysis of the cybersecurity situation, a identification of the main issues and difficulties, and a provision of realistic and actionable suggestions for small businesses in Nigeria.
