EFICÁCIA DA TOXINA BOTULÍNICA NO TRATAMENTO DA HIPERIDROSE

Abstract

A hiperidrose é uma condição que causa sudorese excessiva e desconforto, ocasionando efeitos emocionais e psicológicos nos portadores. Essa patologia pode se manifestar de forma primária como uma alteração crônica, idiopática e simétrica, e de forma secundária, caracterizada por disfunção endócrina associada. Os tratamentos podem ser provisoriamente invasivos e não invasivos, como a toxina botulínica, que tem se mostrado eficaz e com resultados satisfatórios. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi analisar a eficácia da utilização da toxina botulínica no tratamento da Hiperidrose e os objetivos específicos: Citar as condições subjacentes responsáveis pela Hiperidrose Primária e Secundária e destacar os tipos de Hiperidrose; Destacar a importância de se determinar a área em que a Hiperidrose ocorre para realizar o tratamento com toxina botulínica; apontar os benefícios da utilização de toxina botulínica no tratamento da Hiperidrose. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa foi de revisão bibliográfica sistemática e o período de levantamento de material que será utilizado na pesquisa compreenderá os meses de janeiro a maio de 2023. Por meio da qual buscou-se responder ao problema da pesquisa sobre a eficácia da Toxina Botulínica no tratamento da hiperidrose.
