U ovom radu ispitani su doprinosi razliĉitih izvedbi sekundarne regulacije napona u EES Srbije ukupnom smanjenju gubitaka u sistemu što ima za posledicu smanjenu emisiju CO2 i pozitivne ekonomske efekte koji su analizirani. Za potrebe analize korišćen je realni model prenosne mreže Srbije i analiziran je period od 48h u okolini dva kljuĉna režima: prolećnog minimuma i zimskog maksimuma potrošnje 2015. godine. ObraĊen je uticaj na kvalitet elektriĉne energije sa aspekta naponskih prilika, kao i uticaj na gubitke u prenosnoj mreži. Rezultati su dati uporedo sa merenjima iz realnog sistema.
