This study discusses a vibroseis source repeatability using the down-hole data recorded by a distributed acoustic sensing cable. The study is a part of an extensive set of field experiments focused on broadband fiber-optic cable sensing for subsurface resource characterisation. During the field experiments, the vibe remained at the same position and was set to produce a 6-150 Hz sweep signal. In the first experiment, we recorded two series of 32 consecutive sweeps with 13 minutes interval between series. In the second experiment, we recorded six series of 32 sweeps with variable time intervals between sets ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours. We analysed the repeatability of the vibroseis source signature within each series (with an increasing number of shots) and between the series. The analysis included an examination of RMS amplitudes, time shifts and NRMS values. The factors limiting the repeatability of a vibroseis source were defined.
