Many were the changes and adjustments that we needed to face during the pandemic (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2) which had its peak in 2020, due to the difficulties and needs caused during the period, the Federal Government has made available several measures in order to help companies. This paper aims to analyze the measures that the Federal Government implemented with the objective of minimizing these impacts caused in labor relations, in order to avoid unemployment and how this affected the routines of Personnel Department professionals. The methodology, as to the objectives, is descriptive and, as to the procedures, a survey was carried out with professionals in the area, using a qualitative-quantitative approach. The survey approached professionals in the Personnel Department area about the main impacts that the Pandemic (covid-19) caused in their work routines. This, in turn, was applied to 155 professionals in the area, showing, in general, an average of the main Provisional Measures to which the companies adhered, also demonstrating the percentage of professionals who did not suspend their work contract, corresponding to 16.1%, the reduction in salary and work hours, 14, 2% and the FGTS installment plan 26.5%, also showing that 101 interviewees confirmed having sought help by deepening, reading and interpreting the Laws made available in the period, as well as the personal opinion about the agility of the Federal Government regarding the application of the measures and time to adapt.
