Potamotrygon jabuti Carvalho, 2016 Holotype: MZUSP 105023; adult female, 439 mm DW (cited as 453 mm DW in Carvalho, 2016a); (Fig. 12); Rio Jamanxim, Tapajós basin, near Novo Progresso, Pará State, Brazil, 07°09'30"S, 55°25'55"W; depth not listed; M. R. de Carvalho et al.; 14 Sep 2005. Notes: Cut on the right portion of abdomen. Incision between gill openings. Field no. MT 05-28. Paratypes: MZUSP 25578; one adult female, 421 mm DW; Igarapé Uruá or Boa Vista, left bank afluent, Rio Tapajós, next to bridge at km 62 of highway BR 230, Pará State, Brazil, 04°30'S, 56°15'W; depth not listed; J.
