TRATAMENTO DE ACNE COM USO DE CANABIDIOL

Abstract

Este trabalho é uma revisão bibliográfica que aborda os benefícios do uso do canabidiol (CBD) na estética, procurando apresentar as propriedades do mesmo e suas vantagens quando usados na pele com foco em ações anti-inflamatórias, antioxidantes e controle da barreira lipídica para tratamento de ACNE, através do sistema endocanabinoide, que pode se ligar e reconhecer especificamente compostos fenólicos terpênicos, como os da Cannabis, conhecidos como fitocanabinóides. No tratamento da ACNE, os estudos sugerem que o CBD pode normalizar a produção de lipídios, produzidos de forma excessiva e anormal, induzida por estímulos que contribuem para o desenvolvimento da ACNE. Atualmente, os tratamentos para ACNE podem ser caros, ou com muitos efeitos colaterais, o que desestimula o paciente a aderir ao tratamento; o CBD, por ser um composto natural, com poucos efeitos colaterais e bons resultados demonstrados nos estudos, tem grande potencial para se tornar um grande aliado no tratamento da ACNE. A Cannabis sativa, conhecida popularmente como maconha, vem sendo usada como recurso medicinal por diversos povos há séculos, e nos últimos anos diversos países têm descriminalizado o uso da Cannabis e liberado para fins medicinais ou até mesmo recreativo. O presente trabalho foi realizado por meio de busca eletrônica de artigos científicos em inglês, português e espanhol publicados entre 2014 a 2022, nas plataformas: PUBmed, Google Acadêmico e Scielo, além de livros da área.
