Abstract

Description of Leuctra jahorinensis nov. stat. (Figs. E1–E 6; Kaćanski, 1972, her Figs. 1a–1j) urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act: E11584DC-0D96-4132-81FF-0527D2FC9DD5 Morphological diagnosis. A small-sized Leuctra species. Body length of males: 5.5 mm; females 7.0 mm (n = 2). Males and females distinctly brachypterous (Fig. E1). Posteromedial process on tergite VIII of adult males triangular in shape, with a deep and wide median indentation (Figs. E2–E3). Material examined. BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA. Jahorina Mountains. Crni Vrh Prača, spring of Prača River. 45° 43’ 02.7372” N, 18° 35’ 42.6336” E, 1460 m, (= type locality), 1♁, 1♀, 05.10.2007, leg. Dávid Murányi (RED). Description. Males (Figs. E1–E4). Tergite VII pale membranous, without processes, but with thinly sclerotized antecosta (Fig. E3). Antecosta of tergite VIII with dark, sclerotized margins having the shape of a small and narrow parabolic curve, with a posteromedial process attached to its vertex (Figs. E2–E3). Posteromedial process on tergite VIII widely triangular in shape, medially deeply indented (Figs. E2–E3). Specillum gently curved in lateral view and tapering out in a rounded tip; slightly longer than the stylus (Fig. E4). Sternite IX with a well-developed vesicle. Females (Figs. E5–E6). Proximal half of subgenital plate with a small nob, not visible in ventral view (Fig. E5) and hardly prominent in lateral (Fig. E6) view. Distal half with bifurcated lobes (Fig. E5). Nymphs. Unknown.
