BIOMETRÍA DEL ÁRBOL PATRIMONIAL Prosopis sp. (HUARANGO) DESDE LA REFORESTACIÓN EN BIOHUERTO A CIELO ABIERTO

Abstract

Objetivo: describir la biometría del árbol patrimonial Prosopis sp. (huarango) desde la reforestación en biohuerto a cielo abierto. Método: se preparó un compost y luego, se sembró cinco semillas en cada unidad experimental (100 bolsas). Se midió (mm) la raíz y el tallo a los siete y 10 meses de edad. Resultados: el crecimiento de la raíz fue: 9,56±7,06 mm (siete meses) y 23,4±9,86 mm (10 meses), mientras que el crecimiento del tallo correspondió a: 34,44±6,02 mm (siete meses) y 56,6±1,67 mm (10 meses). Al comparar el crecimiento de la raíz a los siete y 10 meses, la prueba t-Student = -0,82; p = 0,43. Por tanto, no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas. Sin embargo, se halló diferencias estadísticas significativas al compararse el crecimiento del tallo: 8,39; p = 0,00. Los valores del coeficiente de correlación de Pearson para siete meses fueron: p = 0,13; coeficiente de correlación = -0,54 y R2 = 28,99 mientras que, a los 10 meses fueron: p = 0,72; coeficiente de correlación = 0,22 y R2 = 5,02. Discusión: se observó, crecimiento de la raíz y el tallo desde los siete a 10 meses. En ambos períodos de edad, no existió relación lineal entre la biometría del crecimiento de la raíz y el tallo. Conclusión: la reforestación en biohuerto a cielo abierto permitió que el árbol patrimonial Prosopis sp. nuevamente, se desarrolle. La relación del crecimiento entre la raíz y el tallo correspondió a su retención en las bolsas experimentales, aunque algunas mostraron la salida de la raíz.
