Abstract— Face detection is a powerful technology that enables the detection of human faces in images and videos through various techniques such as feature-based, appearancebased, knowledge-based, and template matching. Among these, the Haar cascade classifier is considered one of the most effective techniques due to its high accuracy and use of a predefined dataset stored in XML format. This classifier works by converting real-time face RGB colors into grayscale and comparing the resulting image with the predefined dataset to detect faces. This technology has numerous practical applications, including improving security systems, enhancing human-machine interfaces, and advancing research in computer vision and artificial intelligence.
