Danskernes brug af nyhedsmedier 2023

Abstract

Danske nyhedsbrugere kan – deres forskelligheder til trods – inddeles i fire brugertyper, der er kendetegnet ved deres 'nyhedsrepertoirer'; det vil sige brugermønstre, som opstår ud fra de forskellige medieteknologier og indholdsleverandører, som folk bruger i dagligdagen. Danskerne kan på denne måde inddeles i Minimale nyhedsbrugere, Ivrige nyhedsbrugere, TV-nyhedsbrugere og Alsidige nyhedsbrugere. Denne rapport om Danskernes brug af nyhedsmedier 2023 har for første gang brugt de data, vi får gennem vores samarbejde med The Reuters Digital News Report, til at udarbejde analyser af danskernes nyhedsrepertoirer. Rapporten tager også, som tidligere år, en pejling på, hvordan danskerne i det hele taget navigerer i nyhedsmedielandskabet. Det gør vi ved dels at følge op på de udviklingsmæssige nedslags-punkter, som vi har kortlagt systematisk siden 2013 (såsom brug af nyhedsmedietyper, foretrukne nyhedsmedietyper, brandloyalitet på nettet, betalingsvillighed, brug af podcast, m.fl.), dels ved at analysere en række udvalgte temaer mere i dybden. De særlige emner i denne 2023-rapport er: Undgåelse af nyheder, brug af podcast, danskernes syn på public service, brug af lokale og regionale nyhedsmedier, finansjournalistik, danskernes nyhedsrepertoirer samt holdninger til algoritmestyret, personaliseret indhold.
