A planilha excel contem os dados extraídos do Recenseamento Geral realizado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) do ano de 1940 até o quinto censo efetivado pelo mesmo instituto referente ao ano de 1980. Os dados refletem acerca da educação básica, ensino superior e número de professores disponíveis em cada censo. The excel spreadsheet contains data extracted from the General Census carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) from 1940 to the fifth census carried out by the same institute for the year 1980. The data reflect on basic education, higher education and number of teachers available in each census.
