Desarrollo sostenible del turismo en la provincia de Camagüey

Abstract

El turismo en Cuba juega un papel determinante en la economía, ya que constituye su motor impulsor; razón por la cual el Estado y Gobierno cubanos han puesto un especial empeño en su desarrollo. Por tanto, el manejo integrado del mismo es una necesidad vital, dado el poder impactante que tiene esta actividad sobre el medio. No obstante, existe un recurso potencial que hasta ahora no ha cobrado la importancia requerida cuando se planifica la actividad turística en estos espacios: el recurso natural clima. Por lo que, no se concibe un manejo integrado del turismo sin una explotación adecuada de dicho recurso, ya que condiciona en buena medida la actividad turística en exteriores, favoreciéndola en ocasiones, o disminuyéndola e incluso impidiendo su realización. En este sentido, se desea trabajar en la transformación digital del sector turístico, a partir del uso y aprovechamiento de las TICS, en la creación de sistemas inteligentes, con el objetivo de ofrecer información precisa de variables ambientales para la toma de decisiones en la planificación de las actividades, y en la prestación de servicios meteorológicos y climáticos más eficientes. Para el pronóstico se emplean diferentes métodos, técnicas y herramientas informáticas, además de un ecosistema de soluciones de software, creado bajo una arquitectura distribuida orientada a servicios y micro-servicios. Además, se utiliza VIDERHE como plataforma de señalización digital para la comunicación de los resultados del procesamiento de datos, variables ambientales, avisos, alertas y sugerencias especializadas, brindando la información aportada con una visualidad atractiva, productiva y constante.
