Introdução ao MATLAB: Guia tutorial

Abstract

Este livro destina-se a ser um tutorial em língua portuguesa para o aprendizado rápido das principais funções e comandos do MATLAB com foco em aplicações matemáticas típicas de ciências exatas e engenharia. Seu conteúdo tem sido utilizado como material didático no Instituto Militar de Engenharia em disciplinas de graduação e de pós-graduação desde 2009 no âmbito das graduações em Engenharia Elétrica, Engenharia Eletrônica, Engenharia de Telecomunicações e Engenharia Química e dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Defesa, em Engenharia Elétrica e em Química. É necessário um investimento mínimo de 20 horas para explorar o conteúdo. Quanto à proposta pedagógica, uma referência importante para a construção deste material foi o texto Getting Started with MATLAB do Prof. Rudra Pratap publicado pela Oxford University Press. No entanto, o livro traz uma abordagem concisa e prática para o aprendizado que materializa um conjunto de experiências pedagógicas dos autores no IME referente ao ensino do MATLAB enquanto linguagem e ferramenta computacional. A versão de referência do software é a 2023a. É desejável que nosso leitor possua noções mínimas sobre o uso de ferramentas computacionais de cálculo para uma maior compreensão da sintaxe dos comandos e da lógica envolvida em procedimentos mais complexos que serão explorados como exemplos.
