Características topográficas da microbacia do Alto Rio Escondido, Rondônia, Brasil

Abstract

As características topográficas da paisagem indicam o potencial de uso do solo para a implantação e manejo de sistemas agropecuários. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo apresentar as características topográficas da microbacia do Alto Rio Escondido, localizada no município de Colorado D’Oeste, Rondônia. Foram analisados os parâmetros topográficos: altitudes mínima, média e máxima, e relevo. Os parâmetros foram extraídos, mensurados e analisados com o software QGIS 2.10.1 (versão Pisa), utilizando imagens altimétricas do satélite Alos (sensor Palsar), com resolução espacial de 12,5 m. A microbacia do Alto Rio Escondido tem área de 141,9 km2, altitudes mínima, média e máxima de 258, 436, e 588 m, respectivamente, relevos planos a montanhosos, com predominância das classes plano (45,8%) e suave ondulado (30,9%). A microbacia tem área de altitudes favoráveis para a implantação de sistemas agropecuários, com destaque para a pecuária, predominância de áreas com alta suscetibilidade a perdas de solo e água, e de áreas com baixa influencia em propagação e incêndios. Recomenda-se a adoção de práticas integradas de manejo conservacionista do solo nas áreas com sistemas agropecuários, principalmente nos locais mais íngremes da microbacia.
