O CICLO HIDROSSOCIAL E DA CULTURA DA ÁGUA PARA SEGURANÇA HÍDRICA

Abstract

O Brasil, apesar de possuir a maior quantidade de água doce do mundo, tem 35 milhões de pessoas sem acesso à água no seu território e já poluiu o equivalente aos 18 maiores rios do mundo juntos, com lançamento de esgoto. O artigo tem como objetivo apresentar duas experiências de aprendizagem com o Ciclo Hidrossocial ocorridas em territórios e com públicos diferentes. A primeira experiência educativa ocorreu com estudantes do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Municipal Professora Amélia Araújo Lage, na cidade de Angra dos Reis no estado do Rio de Janeiro, a partir da disciplina de Geografia e a segunda experiência com discentes de graduação e pós-graduação da Universidade Federal do Sul e Sudeste do Pará, na Cidade de Marabá no estado do Pará, a partir de um curso de Extensão que além do Ciclo Hidrossocial abordou a Cultura da Água. Identificamos em ambas experiências a possibilidade de trabalhar os conceitos como impulsionadores da Segurança Hídrica potencializando o manejo e conservação da água e ampliando a experiência para outras áreas do conhecimento e da governança hídrica.
