Relevance of the research topic. The study of the issue of the organizational and economic mechanism of managing the safety potential of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of ensuring the efficiency of business processes is determined by the modern dynamics of changes and the importance of their diagnosis of impulse signatures. Formulation of the problem. The existing organizational and economic management mechanism of innovation–oriented enterprises, in particular, the security potential, does not fully satisfy the need to increase the effectiveness of activities, optimize the use of all resources, increase labor productivity, ensure the competitiveness of innovative products, which in the context of ensuring the effectiveness of business processes determines relevance of the research topic. Setting the purpose and objectives of the study – to investigate the organizational and economic mechanism of managing the security potential of an innovatively oriented enterprise in the context of ensuring the efficiency of business processes. Research method or methodology. The article uses the following methods: monographic, graphic, analysis and synthesis, systematization. Presentation of the main material (research results). Problematic aspects of the activity of an innovation–oriented enterprise are singled out, the solution of which should be aimed at the formation and development of resource capabilities. The peculiarities of the formation of the resource potential of an innovatively oriented enterprise are revealed. Field of application of results. The results of the research can be used in the practical activities of innovatively oriented enterprises to ensure the efficiency of business processes. Conclusions on the article. The approaches and principles of the formation of the security potential of the enterprise as a complete system, which is characterized by certain levels and interconnections, are systematized. The process of forming, using and developing the potential of an innovatively oriented enterprise is schematically depicted. A number of principles of forming a system of material resources for an innovation-oriented enterprise have been defined. The external and internal sources of the formation of the security potential of an innovatively oriented enterprise are revealed.
