Abstract

Die brandenburgischen Hochschulen sind wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen, an denen nicht nur in vielen unterschiedlichen multidisziplinären Studiengängen gelehrt, sondern auch aktiv geforscht wird. Um alle Forschenden an den Hochschulen bestmöglich zu unterstützen, ist es notwendig, deren Bedarfe, Wünsche und Vorstellungen für ein institutionalisiertes Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) mit Hilfe einer Umfrage zu ermitteln. Mit den so gewonnenen Ergebnissen können passgenaue Angebote und Strukturen zur Unterstützung von Forschenden und Forschungseinrichtungen im Bereich FDM aufgebaut und Bestehendes verbessert werden. Von den acht am Projekt beteiligten staatlichen Hochschulen, haben lediglich zwei systematische Bedarfserhebungen im Bereich FDM durchgeführt, was allerdings bereits 2017 erfolgt ist. Aktuelle Daten liegen daher für keine der beteiligten Hochschulen vor. Das eröffnet die Möglichkeit für das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) und die Europäische Union (NextGenerationEU), sowie das Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur (MWFK) des Landes Brandenburg geförderte Projekt IN-FDM-BB durch eine neue Umfrage vergleichbare Daten für alle brandenburgischen Hochschulen zu ermitteln.
