The aim of this paper is to present the basic theses of Ludwig Landgrebe (1902–1991) for a dialogue between phenomenology and Marxism. The work of this important phenomenologist, disciple and collaborator of Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger, deserves to be studied as an original philosophical proposal of his own that goes beyond the legacy of his two great masters. A clear example of this is offered by his important studies on phenomenology and Marxism, such as "The Problem of Dialectics" (1960), published in the Marxismusstudien series, "The Problem of Teleology and Corporeality in Phenomenology and Marxism" (1977) or "Dialectics and Genesis in Phenomenology" (1980), which we will deal with in this paper. To do so, Landgrebe redefines the Marxist concept of "praxis" by redirecting it to the intentional genesis of meaning in practical bodily life, taking the Husserlian notion of corporeality (Leiblichkeit) as a guiding thread.
