Jung’or xonligi–oyratlar[1](qalmiqlar)ning davlati nomlanishi, XVII asr ikkinchi choragi – XVIII asr ikkinchi yarmi boshlarigacha mavjud bo’lib, Balxash ko’lidan Irtish va Tyan-Shangacha cho’zilgan hududda joylashgan o’z davrining kuchli davlati bo’lgan. Pyotr I ning 1720-1725 yillarda asirga tushgan shved zobitlari tomonidan tuzilgan, Rusni o’rab turgan davlatlardan biri Kalmikiya, ya’ni Jung’or xonligi bo’lib, [1] Чжуньгария от монгольского слова Чжун-гар по выговору Южных и Цзун-гар по произношению Северных Монголов, в переводе значит: Восточная сторона.
